I am Tonya Braeutigan and I am a dedicated and trustworthy full time real estate associate broker working full time to better service my clients. In addition to the above mentioned associations, I am a member of The Real Estate BUYER'S AGENT Council, The National Notary Association, I have earned and held the Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR®) designation for over 7 years and I am a Graduate of the REALTOR® Institute (GRI). I have also pursued an e-pro certification, a National Association of REALTORS® designation that teaches an on-going internet market presence in order to help insure a better service to my clients. I consistently maintain the reputation of being service-oriented and compassionate. I was raised in the Chesaning/Brant area of Michigan and have made my home here as well. I’ve been with my husband David for over 18 years and together we are raising our children, Brittany and Matthew in the same area. In fact, our children had even attended the same elementary and now attend the same middle school that my husband and I attended. I come from a large family and have relatives all over the surrounding areas. Chesaning, Brant, Brady, Oakley, Montrose, St. Charles, Burt, Albee... you get the idea. My maiden name is Barror and I am also related to the Baase and Zoellner families. I enjoy volunteering at the school and getting to know the kids. I feel it is important to be involved in everything your child's school is doing to help keep it a safe, happy place to learn and grow. When a child from class sees me outside of their school environment and gives a big hug, it is worth every moment of my time. I am also a member of the Chesaning Church of Christ and the Chesaning Lions Club organization. I currently hold the Secretary's postion for the Lions Club and have found it to be quite a passion for me because of all of the worthwhile causes they commit to. My family is actively involved in fund raising efforts for the Arthritis Foundation and in the past our team for the Arthritis Walk in Ann Arbor raised over $1200.00 in our very first year! The following May, our team "Brittany's Believers", with 18 (9 being children) members finished our for a total over $1300! We intend to carry on our new tradition of fund raising for the Michigan Arthritis Chapters and hope to continually out-due year after year. One out of every 10 people are in some way affected by arthritis, including over 185,000 children in the United States so it's very close to my heart and I feel its very important to due my part. So watch in the spring for our garage sales that we use to raise most of our money and meet Brittany, who will be selling pop and candy, as well.
